The ASA Resilience Teen/Youth program is designed to equip educators with tools to teach resilience and strengths-based coaching to students in Year 8-12. The student workshops are taught in 12 modules or spread out over an entire school semester, and focuses on:
Wundertraining work with various public and private schools nationally for staff PD and student programs. Wundertraining certify staff to run the program in-house.
Certified School Champion 2-day professional development is available for training School Leaders, School Counsellors and Wellbeing Coordinators, Teachers, Educational Support Staff to run the program at their own school.
The program is designed by Fatima Doman, author of the Authentic Strengths book and the Global trainer for VIA Strengths Certification. The program is endorsed by Dr Neal Meyerson Founder of VIA Institute on Character Catholic Education South Australia. It is informed by evidence from research on the value of character strengths in various contexts. Full, detailed information about this evidence base is provided in the Facilitator Guide.
