Aims & approach

The Bella Girl Program aims to equip girls with tools that will build their self-esteem and to have discussions that will encourage personal development and enrichment. The core value of the program is that by learning to value yourself you are able to value others.

The Bella Girl Program is designed for Grades 6-12, with the Bella Junior Program for Grades 4-5.

It is an 8-10 week course teaching girls about their value, beauty and purpose, covering topics such as

  • Healthy Thinking
  • Friendships
  • The Power of Music, and many more.

Evidence

The positive impact of the program is supported by survey data, where 97% of over 100 girls who had completed the Bella Girl Program indicated that they would use what they had learnt in some way, and 91% indicated that they would encourage their friends to do the program.
