The Blurred Minds Academy is an online learning platform that helps teachers to deliver an engaging, relevant, and effective curriculum on alcohol, vaping, and drug education.
The Blurred Minds Workshops provides a range of in-person workshops and online webinars for students, school staff, and parents, focusing on preventing vaping, alcohol, and drug use through evidence-based, interactive presentations.
Whether it's students learning about the dangers of substances, parents understanding how to talk about these issues at home, or school staff gaining insights to support their students, Blurred Minds aims to create a whole-community and supportive approach to substance use prevention education.
The Blurred Minds Academy online program is free to state and non-state Queensland secondary schools, funded by QLD Department of Education until 2027.
Blurred Minds Academy and in-person workshops are available Australia-wide. For pricing, please contact the Blurred Minds team.
The Blurred Minds research team has over 30 publications that document various aspects of the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Blurred Minds resources. They take an evidence-based approach, continuously evaluating resources for improvement. References include:
CQ University workshop evaluation survey showed 75% of students rated workshops as highly satisfactory, 84% increased knowledge about vaping risks, 88% were likely to reduce or quit vaping (n=500)."
The Blurred Minds Academy program achieved a Level 3: Foundational and Emerging Evidence rating on the Victorian Mental Health Menu here.
