Aims & approach

The Bullying No Way! website provides Australian young people, schools and parents with a wide range of free, evidence-informed resources to support bullying prevention and responses. It also includes research into the prevelance and types of bullying, and best-practice approaches to respond and manage incidents.

Bullying No Way: National Week of Action is Australia's key bullying prevention initiative for schools.

  • It unites government, Catholic and independent schools and their communities to foster practical approaches to bullying prevention.
  • Schools can create a shared understanding about bullying behaviours, and their bullying prevention policies and strategies.
  • Schools register to receive a free online toolkit. The evidence-informed toolkit contains free classroom resources and everything schools need to plan and host their Bullying No Way Week activities.

Evidence

The initiative adopts a range of theories and frameworks such as Bronfenbrenner's Social Ecological Theory, MTSS, and Whole School Aproach to Student Wellbeing.
