Aims & approach

The objective of the program is to show students that food is more than fuel and to reduce the transactional affiliation with weight and body image. The program highlights for students how food is central to every aspect of our wellbeing and how it should nourish our entire life.

This multi-module program combines theoretical learning with hands-on cooking experiences, reinforcing concepts and teaching essential culinary skills. Modules can be tailored to fit various schedules, allowing schools to select topics that best meet their needs.

Sprout School Program Delivery Options:

  • In-Person: Includes a theory workshop by a dietitian, a hands-on cooking session, all ingredients/equipment, and facility hire or travel fees.
  • Live Online: Features a live theory workshop and a live cooking demonstration.
  • Pre-Recorded Online: Provides access to a learner management system with a pre-recorded theory workshop and cooking demonstration, available until module completion.
  • Cost: Charged per student per module, with a minimum spend equivalent to 20 students.
