Aims & approach

While this is not technically a 'program', the free initiative invites young people to tear up the negatives they find themselves thinking, feeling, seeing and saying and reframe their thinking to feel positive about who they are, and support everyone to be who they want to be judgement free.

Schools nationally are invited to participate by running an event at any stage of the year to fit their curriculum. A FREE event pack is available to assist schools in putting together events or class-based activities.

Evidence

From a group of young people, as part of the ABC Heywire Program, an awesome idea grew for a national campaign aiming to inspire us all to 'tear up' the negatives and pump up the positive. Since 2013, 100's of schools and 1000's of young people have jumped on board.
