Schools using restorative practices need to teach students a range of concepts for them to be able to think and operate in ways that promote peace, dialogue and when appropriate, restoration / restitution.
Educators are trained in a full-day workshop (9.30 am - 3.30 pm) to equip them with all they need to begin and sustain Circles successfully with a class.
The program is detailed in The Grab and Go Circle Time Kit: For Teaching Restorative Behaviour which covers a range of concepts that assists students to operate successfully in a school that adheres to values of peace, reconcilitation, restitution and responsibility to others.
Program is based on Positive Psychology, Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
