Aims & approach

Educating students from Years 1 to 8 to develop understanding, acceptance and inclusion of people with a disability, learning that people with a disability really are JUST LIKE YOU!

The program addresses both visible and hidden disabilities, ensuring that students grasp the full spectrum of diversity and embrace inclusivity.

Interactive workshops are delivered in class or online by trained facilitators. The registeration page provides additional information about requirements.

Each stage-based workshop is designed to be delivered to class size groups and are curriculum aligned and free to all schools.

Evidence

The Just Like You program has been delivered across metro and rural NSW, and piloted in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Since 2015, we have reached over 150,000 students. The impact of the program is supported by positive changes in students' attitudes and behaviours reported by teachers.
