Aims & approach

Sanguine's self-reflection questions allow young people to increase their self awareness, social awareness, confidence, optimism and wellbeing. Each entry takes approximately 5 minutes and can be used to start group discussions and roleplays to deepen knowledge acquisition. As a wellbeing curriculum, students are asked to self-reflect and journal either daily or once a week.

The program framework includes:

  • Friendship and relationship check ins.
  • Self awareness prompts.

Evidence

The program is based on Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Self-Determination theory, with its positive impact supported by feedback from participants.
