Aims & approach

SPARC is an eight-week social and emotional student small group program that adopts a solutions-focused approach, using guided discussions, questioning and multimedia activities and resources to direct students to consider personal goals.

The program encourages students to develop their own solutions to their problems, especially regarding issues around bullying.

Based on a solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) framework, SPARC promotes positive and inclusive learning experiences by acknowledging students' best version of themselves, encouraging compassion and empathy for others, addressing issues of respect and explicitly focusing on the solutions and not the problems.

The program consists of five key areas: Social Skills, Purpose, Awareness, Resilience and Confidence.

Implementation includes:

  • Facilitator Guide: easy to follow and helps guide you to facilitate the SPARC program in school
  • Unlimited Students: Once purchased the SPARC program student booklet has  unlimited access
  • Support: Admin staff are support program implementation and welcome feedback
  • Resources: All SPARC resources come in a digital format sent directly to the school contact.
  • Training Video: Simple and straight forward videos that outline each week and resources.
  • Surveys: Survey templates provided so you can see the outcomes and changes in your students success.
