A program for Grade 1-12 students to explicitly teach 4 Healthy Behaviour Routines and 30 Key Social Emotional Skills for use in 300+ role-play applications that vary developmentally. Content is aligned with the CASEL competency framework, and includes stress management, social support recruitment and personal goal setting skills.
Each skill unit has 3 lessons so there is substantial practice that focuses on both skills and emotionals. PowerPoint style slides are core to each lesson, which are each 20-25 minutes. Most teachers select 10 to 12 SEL Skills + the Healthy Behaviour Foundation lessons to teach in a 15 to 20 week period.
Materials are 100% digital, all of which except the lesson slides can be downloaded and copied.
The theoretical models - the CASEL SEL Competency Framework and the Harvard Healthy Children - of students' social emotional health have substantially shaped our Healthy Student Model of Social and Academic Success.
