The Rite Journey is an innovative year-long program designed as a contemporary rite of passage for young people. It is implemented by classroom teachers who have undergone specialised training. To effectively deliver this program, teachers must complete a two-day in-person training session conducted by experts from The Rite Journey.
The goal of this program is to empower educators to cultivate meaningful relationships with their students. It encourages teachers to engage in a series of impactful conversations that address a diverse array of topics. Through these discussions, the program aims to equip students with essential life skills, fostering their growth in areas such as emotional intelligence, resilience, decision-making, and self-awareness. Ultimately, The Rite Journey seeks to create an enriching environment that supports students in their transition to adulthood, helping them navigate the complexities of life with confidence and purpose.
The Rite Journey draws upon the concepts of the Rite of Passage and the Hero's Journey from the angle of Relational Teaching.
