Aims & approach

WISA aims to support and strengthen wellbeing across entire school communities through evidence-based training and workshops.

The key approach provides schools with access to expert consultants who work collaboratively with the community in building a strategic whole of school approach to health and wellbeing that creates a socially just environment where all students can thrive.

The offerings are tailored to each school's needs. The guidance provided by WISA:

  1. Builds the capacity of school leaders of wellbeing
  2. Enables school leadership and governance to effectively resource wellbeing in their school
  3. Identifies the best strategies for working with your most vulnerable students
  4. Leverages population based approaches to enhance school community wellbeing

Most training webinars are delivered online, with opportunities for in-person consultation and support.
