The You Can Do It (YCDI)! Secondary School Wellbeing and Achievement Online Student Programs include:
Program Achieve Secondary (year levels 7 - 10) is a Preventative Mental and Health Wellbeing Curriculum that promotes social-emotional skills (resilience, confidence, persistence, organisation, getting along) for secondary school students.
The Successful Mind for School, Work and Life course: (year levels 9 - 12) with Student Handbook and supported by a digital Leader's Guide which contains background information and a session plan for each of the 10 sessions.
The aim of these programs is to accelerate the development in 7-12 students of social-emotional learning skills, positive attitudes (e.g., self-acceptance, high frustration tolerance, growth mindset, optimism) including attitudes (e.g., time management, goal setting) and behaviours for learning (academic confidence, persistence, teamwork).
The YCDI! programs are underpinned by multiple theories: social-emotional learning, resilience, positive psychology, intrinsic motivation, cognitive-behavioural, rational-emotive behaviour therapy, rational-emotive education, interpersonal cognitive, problem-solving.
